The ‘King of the Hallyu Wave’, Bae Yong Joon, made a surprise ‘voice appearance’ on SBS’s “Strong Heart“!

On June 7th, Kim Hyun Joong made a guest appearance and revealed his close relationship with the CEO of his agency, Bae Yong Joon.

He stated, “A while ago, I’ve heard that Yong Joong hyung went to Busan by himself so I went right away and stayed with him.”

The singer also called Bae Yong Joong during filming, which he fortunately answered. Reportedly, Bae Yong Joon praised Hyun Joong and expressed his deep fondness for the star. He also joked around by saying, “I want to see Hyun Joong being hit by the wind [as punishment for telling a 'weak' story].”

It’s said that Bae Yong Joon lived up to his reputation as a ‘man of gentle charisma’ by answering every cast member’s question.

Korea is rapidly becoming known for two things, its food and celebrities. So it’s no wonder that the combination of the two has attracted attention.
If you’re all about the hallyu stars, but don’t want to sacrifice a few meals while staking them out, check out some of the most popular restaurants owned by Korean celebs.
Gorilla in the Kitchen: Bae Yong-joon

Gorilla in the Kitchen, one of the most-respected celeb-owned restaurants, is all about healthy food and the well-being lifestyle.
You’ll find no butter or cream in the kitchen and minimal salt in your food — a welcome change from the typically sodium-saturated Korean plate.
The diet-conscious can go for the “human-sized” portions (larger sizes are called “gorilla”), while the health-conscious can order combo meals, which in turn will get you a free health consultation on your sugar levels before and after meals. Although Gorilla in the Kitchen is known as Yonsama’s restaurant, the interior is surprisingly devoid of Bae Yong-joon paraphernalia.

[edaily Starin reporter Kim Young Hwan] Yonsama Bae Yong Joon made an appearance on SBS’s show, “Strong Heart” in voice only, he did not appear physically.

On the 26th of last month, at the recording of The King of Kings Battle of SBS’s show, “Strong Heart”, Kim Hyun Joong called Bae Yong Joon. He appeared in the show in voice only and encouraged Kim Hyun Joong. 

On that day, Kim Hyun Joong called Bae Yong Joon on the spur of the moment. Bae Yong Joon answered the phone and his appearance by phone was accomplished. Bae Yong Joon has been known as a famous star that does not appear on shows.

Bae Yong Joon has extremely avoided appearing on a show before. Usually, most entertainers want to appear on a show to promote their movies and dramas, but Bae Yong Joon has refused to appear on them.
