It is great even though Bae Yong Joon appears very little. Viewing rate improved from 0.1% to 0.18%.

Actor Bae Yong Joon doubled the viewing rate.

According to Tnms, the viewing rate research agency, on the 8th the viewing rate of MBC Everyone’s “Hanayeo (The Journey in Search of Korea’s Beauty)” where Bae Yong Joon appeared was 0.18%.

Someone related to the PR department of MBC marketing said, “Compared to the other programs of Everyone, the viewing rate of “Hanayeo” was twice more.”

Actually, the portion where Bae Yong Joon appeared was not large. He appeared for about 15 minutes of the total 60 minute show. Moreover, it was replaced with either the pictures that were taken by Bae Yong Joon or himself a year ago. This is the reason that makes us recognize “Bae Yong Joon’s influence.

“Hanayeo” (Planning Cha Yong Seok) is a travel documentary that is based on the book that Bae Yong Joon wrote last year bearing the same name. Foreign students from Japan, Thailand, and Paraguay appear in this program. This program shows the traveling course in Korea while they are tracing the roads where he walked, restaurants that he visited, and people he met.

In the first part, the episode of “Mother’s Land, Gangwon-do” (Planning Cha Yong Seok) aired and Tooyama Aya (Japan), who studies in the Korea Foreign University, appeared and traveled the Gangwon-do area which included Gangreung, Yangyang, Jeongsun, and Taebaek. A benevolent and strong Korean mother was compared with the scenery of rich and nature.

The episode 2, “Adjust the dress, fill and empty” (Planning Ji Hyun Ho) will be airing this coming 15th. Veronica (Paraguay) who studies business administration at Hanyang University appears. She will travel Andong Hahoe Village and Mungyeong Saejae in Gyeongsangbuk-do. Bae Yong Joon’s traces about one year ago remained with people and the places where Bae Yong Joon visited.

“Hanayeo” will be airing every Saturday at 11:00 pm on MBC Everyone.
