Commercials of the 1st and 2nd episode of “Dream High” were completely sold out. Copyright inquiries pour in from overseas.

Meeting between “Yonsama” Bae Yong Joon, the idol groups of 2PM, and Miss A created a big synergy effect.

All the commercials of the 1st and 2nd episode of KBS’s Mon-Tue Mini Series “Dream High” (writer Park Hyu Ryon, Director Lee Eung Bok) were completely sold out. According to the interview with Sports Hankook on the 5th, someone associated with KBS stated, “The commercials of the beginning parts of “Dream High” were completely sold out. We expect the commercials of 3rd and 4th episodes will also be sold out since the drama is getting lots of attentions.”

The selling out of all “Dream High” commercials reflects the expectation for brilliant casts. Before the airing of “Dream High”, previous KBS’s Mon-Tue Mini Series recorded about 7%, low viewing rate. Moreover, it wasn’t an attractive time period for the commercial industry because MBC’s “Queen of Reversals” and SBS’s “Athena; Godness of War” were competing at the same time. 

Meeting between Bae Yong Joon and Park Jin Young, and the expectation of the idol stars moved the advertising market. “Dream High” sold out all the commercials of the 1st and 2nd episode and performed its duty very well just like a devoted son. Since “Dream High” raised its viewing rate doubling figures in the first week of airing, it could be possible selling out all the commercials.

Someone related to the production of “Dream High” stated, “We’re getting lots of inquiries from overseas. We will respond to the viewers’ expectations with solid storylines and fine pictures.
