[Sports Today, Reporter Cho Beomja]Bae Yong Joon joined the cast of KBS 2TV’s drama “Dream High,” a drama that he produces. This is his first acting job in nearly 3 years.
On the 8th, the drama production compnay said that Bae Yong Joon started filming as a guest star.
He plays the chairman of the board of Kirin Art School, the best star training school in Korea, Jeong Ha Myung and he will play as “the hand of Midas” who makes a student a worldwide star.
On the 7th, the first scene he filmed at the entry gate of the Incheon International Airport was his overseas return for an audition to Kirin Art School. He was busy creating a school overseas. Ironically, he will play the role of Jeong Ha Myung who is embarassed when he leaves the entry gate because of the pouring camera flashes. He will show his new look as Jeong Ha Myung, which is far from reality.
Bae Yong Joon hasn’t filmed for 3 years. “TWSSG” was his last work; he has changed his hair style for “Dream High”. He was also wearing a long black coat during his filming.
After filming, he showed his enthusiasm by saying, “I was nervous because I haven’t shot for a long time, but I feel good. I’m excited.”
Bae Yong Joon’s Keyeast and Park Jin Young’s JYP Entertainment co-produce “Dream High” which is drawing much attention. It is a global project that will show the growing process of students, each student comes from a different background or situation, to become worldwide stars. It will air starting January 3rd, 2011 after “Mary stayed out all night” ends.
