Hallyu star Bae Yong Joon participates in the charity project which was organized by the Japanese TV.

On the 17th of June, his management company, Keyeast said, “Bae Yong Joon will participate in the charity event, “The Smile Project” which is handled by the Japanese Entertainment Channel, DATV.”

‘The Smile Project’ is a public affair contribution project for all of the Asian children so they can spend a day smiling.

DATV said that they’re not only helping the unfortunate children in Asia, such as Cambodia, Philippines, etc. through the non-profit organization, Children Without Borders (KnK), in the future, but they plan to organize a mammoth event in which famous Asian entertainers participate at the Tokyo Dome in Japan this coming December.

Bae Yong Joon will contribute by participating in the original programs and various events of “The Smile Project” of DATV.

Someone from Keyeast said, “’Bae Yong Joon showed his willingness and big interests in the participation in this project because ‘The Smile Project’ is a public affair contribution for the Asian children with a long-term plan.”
